Northampton Road, Broughton

NNC will be undertaking traffic calming works to include new signage and road markings

Where

Northampton Road, Wellingborough Road, High Street and Kettering Road Broughton.

When

Phase A - Monday 29 September to Wednesday 1 October. Northampton Road.
Phase B - Wednesday 1 October to Friday 3 October. Junction of Northampton Road, High Street and Wellingborough Road.
Phase C - Monday 6 October to Tuesday 7 October. Kettering Road.

Traffic management

Phase A - 2-way lights Northampton Road.
Phase B - 3-way lights at the junction for Northampton Road, Wellingborough Road and High Street.
Phase C - 2-way lights. Kettering Road.

Emergency vehicles

Emergency vehicles will have access when safe to do so.

Residents and businesses

Access for residents and businesses will be maintained throughout the works. To help us complete the scheme as quickly and efficiently as possible, we kindly ask that vehicles are not parked within the works area. If you need to use your driveway, please ensure cars are moved before 8am each morning. We also recommend allowing a little extra time for your journeys. If you require any assistance, please speak with the Site Manager on site.

Public transport

Bus services will be notified of the works and will make alternative arrangements if necessary. Please contact your local bus provider for further information.

Towaway vehicles

Parked vehicles in the works area will be towed by an approved contractor. Please do not park in the works zone.
