Community Planning Update: Broughton Neighbourhood Plan Review

The Broughton Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group has officially submitted a review of our Neighbourhood Plan to North Northants Council.

This review has been completed to align our Plan with the current National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and the existing Kettering Local Plan.

The Bigger Picture for Planning nationally at the moment is that the Government is currently updating the NPPF and more locally, Northamptonshire’s unitary authorities are creating new Local Plans with the upcoming plan relating to North Northamptonshire currently in its initial scoping stage.

Our Steering Group is actively working to keep Broughton's policies fully aligned with these major changes and will be updating our Plan further as the Planning Landscape is clarified with the publication initially of the new NPPF.
